The Phi Delta Theta Outstanding Freshman Scholarship
The Missouri Beta Chapter of Phi Delta Theta annually sponsors a one thousand dollar scholarship to recognize a high school senior who excelled in academics and extracurricular activities. Our organization prides itself on the cultivation of friendship, the acquirement individually of a high degree of mental culture, and the attainment of a high standard of morality. The men of Phi Delta Theta realize the importance of higher education, and would like to assist a worthy individual in furthering his academic progress.
By applying for the Phi Delta Theta Outstanding Freshman Scholarship, you are not committing yourself to membership in the sponsoring organization or any other fraternal organization. The $1000 scholarship will be awarded to the applicant selected by the review committee. Applications are due no later than August 12th. The scholarship recipient will be notified by second semester and will have a credit placed on their account for the 2010 school year.
